William Cotnoir is the Associate Pastor of Hudson Community Baptist Church (as of July 2024). Before joining HCBC, William served as a pastor in Vaudreuil-Dorion at a French speaking Baptist church, and before that he worked in the applied physics technology field. He spent his teenage years in the Hudson & St-Lazare area, raised by Christian parents who put a high priority on serving in the church. William is married to Danielle and together they have four wonderful children: Léa, Zoé, Céleste, and Siméon.
William has been shaped by the involvement of the local church in his personal life, such as mentors pouring into his life and elders leading and challenging him. He seeks to model and foster these kinds of organic discipleship in his own ministry. William has studied through SEMBEQ, a local-church based seminary, and through an internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C.. He is convinced that the best way to let the Gospel shine in all its splendour is through the local church holding forth clearly the beauty of the gospel, a church filled with forgiven, gracious saints who seek to make Christ known to all.
In his spare time William enjoys travelling, good food, and great music.
